Loading a saved game before becoming maids and entering the castle: in your maid room there's a spiky crystal that blocks movement, preventing you from continuing after sleeping. (I haven't replayed it this far, though.)
Thanks! I like what you're doing with it, and am a bit torn between following development and looking away for a while so you have time to get more done before playing more.
I was able to work around the crystal by moving saves between 3.1.1 and 3.1.3. Probably not a good idea, but it worked for today. Since then I ran into a couple more issues which make the game shut down during a dialogue with the error "Script 'Message' line 875: NoMethodError occurred. undefined method 'id' for nil:NilClass" Without spoiling things too badly, here's how to get them:
Day 1 of the Second Floor: go to help Rosa first; happens in the entering dialogue.
Day 2 of the Second Floor: before going upstairs, talk to the corner maid in the dining room for the second time (after leaving and finding more information).
Day 2 of the Second Floor: when leaving after helping Hilde. (Whether or not you've helped Rosa already.)
Thanks for the tip. This is probably some error with the characters. Since you are alone and some one(Hilde or Rosa) want to speak he searches for their pictures but can't find them, since they are not in the party. I will look for a way to fix it.
Thought I should probably mention, but equiping Rosa with any of the Demonic equipment changes her character set to Hilde's until it gets changed (like if it changes to the maid one).
I want to ask if this game is still being worked on, because the crystal mentioned above is still not deleted. If so it would be a bad day this game is one of my favourites.
Hello. I have to ask if this game has been abandoned. The Crystal thing still isnt removed and its been a few months. There would be a great deal of people who would find this sad cause so far its a great game.

DeleteI found that reading a passage from the library to open the doors in the tower to get the treasure chests... I couldn't get it open anyway :(
