Hello every one,
this time you get the CG for the Xentia scene,
as well as the release of the order of light.
This time you will go to the demon world and
help those cute and sexy succubi with their
plans. Your first task is to make Niltaru
whole again by hunting down Tear and
make her fuse with Niltaru. On your
way you will encounter golems that
protect the temple that Tear often visists,
so try not to become one of them!
The fight with the golems will be a little bit special
that I wanted to try out. They can implant a golem
heart into one of your girls, making that girl
immobile for the time. At the same time a heart
will spawn on the other side of the battle field
as an enemy. You will be able to , and should,
destroy that heart to free your ally. Failing to
do so will slowly turn the person into another
golem that would ultimately join the fighting
one, leaving you with only one character that
is supposed to kill two golems now.
There can always only be one character at
a time be implanted with a heart, the other
character should be able to free her friend.
I hope you will like this kind of mechanic since
I would like to put it into Ameria as soon as
you have more than one character, where the
other two will have to save them before they
succumb to the magic and join the enemy.

So please tell me what you like of this mechanic,
also here are a few pics to show you
the art of the Xentia CG:
A bug in the Demon Trial area: The trial portals on the left side of the area are mildly bugged and can lock up the game.
ReplyDeleteAfter completing any demon trial on the right side, the portal can be stepped on. If you step on it, Niltaru says "We don't need to take that test anymore!", and you step to the left.
After completing any demon trial on the leftt side, the portal can not be stepped on, but can be inspected. If you inspect the portal, Niltaru says the same line, and the portal will move to the right, unless you are inspecting the portal from the right side. If that is the case, the game will lock up, as the panel cannot move, and the game will not let you move until the panel moves, which can never happen.
Thanks for the tip.
DeleteI changed the trials to match the other working ones. So it will work now.
A bug: You cannot access the Demon Path without using the New Game Skip option. If you try to access it normally (by having a high Demoness rating after freeing the Demon Queen and selecting the proper option), the game plays out the beginning of the Demon Path, but then when the scene changes, the text becomes that of the Normal Path and you end up where you should be the Normal Path instead. Backtracking to where you should be for the Demon Path does not work, as the scholar does not react as he would if you were on the Demon Path, and entering the cave simply causes a glitched version of the scene that takes place there earlier.
ReplyDeleteAlso, the Skip option says 'Sintra path' for the Demon Path option.
Thanks for the bug report.
DeleteLooks like the event just worked forward as if nothing happened, teleported you to the right place and then just used the normal paths lines and teleported you to the standard route.
Now it will kill the whole event as soon as you
have teleported, making it possible to play with your normal saves.
About The Order of Light Demon Route: If both characters get turned into golems (which can happen if one character gets turned into a golem, and the other character survives long enough afterward), the battle will end and you will end up outside of battle controlling an empty party.
ReplyDeleteIf your former lead character (henceforth referred to as "Nulltaru") in front was standing in a golem's path, the game will continue starting a battle with the golem and immediately ending it until you can move "Nulltaru" out of its path. Once "Nulltaru" is no longer touching any golems, you will be able to move around, save, and even continue to the end of the area like this, picking up the contents of chests along the way. If you reach the end of the area, the scene there will repeat endlessly.
I had hoped that just reducing the health to zero would work, I actually was so stupid and only tested it with the "battle tester" which doesn't take in notice the whole event that I call the fight inside, obviously.
DeleteNow it will only remove a char from the party if the other isn't already taken out, thus making it possible to get the bad end as intended.
