Public Release for Tales of Ameria

Sorry for the late post, was a little preoccupied with work and totally forgot it.
Should make an automated post next time, much easier.

Also suggestions about the game also help, I made a vastly different
story telling this time and wonder how people like it.

  1. 1. When starting a new game, trying to leave the ASNP gets the game stuck on a "Now Loading" screen
    2. Using an old save and finishing a shift makes the game start giving me seemingly infinite amounts of the message "Your shift has ended."

  2. I have now played two versions of this game: 0.0.1 Lite that was posted on Pervy Fantasy Productions a couple of days ago, and 0.0.1b that was posted today. Here are bugs I have seen in these games:

    In 0.0.1 Lite, in the first building, the meeting room was impossible to exit, and the HR office text looped endlessly. There were several instances where the screen would turn black and not change back at the hospital. (It is possible to get around this, but the method of doing so involves navigating in total darkness) Defeating the gravure creep at the convenience store causes an endless loop, and trying to get a massage before going home for the first time causes the game to lock up. There are certain graphical glitches (The old lady's sleep bubble appears over Julia's head, NPCs not always visible during scenes, etc).

    In 0.0.1b, most of the glitches mentioned before at the first building are gone (The old lady's sleep bubble still appears over Julia's head). The changelog mentions that the black screen issues have been addressed, but the game locks up when you try to leave the first building, so I have not been able to verify this. This glitch was not in the other version.

    Despite all of these bugs, the game has potential. The fact that I took the time to figure out how to get around the black screen issue should attest to that. I hope you work out the bugs in this, because it looks like it could be great.

    (Also, about the The Order of Light. I responded to your last post, but I will give the short version in case you didn't see it: The door to Odin's Castle is a solid wall. Even if stepping in the door should move you inside, that doesn't work if you can't step in the door.)

  3. Eternal loading screen when exiting North from the initial map. Error occurs on Firefox when running in Linux. Probable cause: Missing resource or case error when referencing the resource.

  5. hey, trying to go through this build of the game and I cant get out of the HQ, when
    I try to leave it just goes to a loading screen forever.
